Our visit to Florida Prairie House was just right. My elder mother, my siblings and I were wanting to experience the Florida prairie country and this was the perfect place to be based from. We toured both the Kissimmee Prairie State Park, Highlands Hammock, the Archbold research center, Buck Island Ranch and rented a skiff on Lake Okeechobee!! The location is remote and the house is modern yet rustic but the stars made it all worth it.

It was amazing how far and wide the view was from your tower, we got up in it just in time to watch the whole sky turn red and purple during the sunset from tower.

I ate the Boar hog we shot at the Okeechobee Outfitters Hunt Camp. Danny SantAngelo was awesome. He has unlimited knowledge of hunting and tracking. With my cousins and everyone commented on how fresh the meat was, thanks again for the Hunting tips you showed me.

David invited us to come up and watch the reenactment of the battle of Okeechobee. The cannons were the most powerful and loudest thing I've ever heard or seen. My family and I learned so much history about Florida. My favorite part was about the Florida Crackers.
